How much amplifier power do I need?

A good rule of thumb is to match the amplifier's continuous power per channel to roughly 1.5–2× the speaker's continuous (AES) rating, at the speaker's impedance. This gives headroom and protects against clipping. Send us your speaker model and we'll suggest a Crown amp that pairs cleanly.

What's DriveCore and do I need it?

Crown DriveCore is their efficient class-D power module with on-board DSP on CDi models. For installs, it means one amp can replace an amp + DSP + crossover stack and stay aligned to the loudspeakers you've chosen.

Can you install amplifiers as well as supply them?
