AKG C214 LARGE DIAPHRAGM CONDENSER MICROPHONE MATCHED PAIR STEREO SET
The AKG C214 large diaphragm condenser microphone delivers the iconic large-diaphragm sound of the renowned C414 family, at a fraction of the cost. Using the same 1-inch dual-capsule as the legendary C414, the C214 offers a cardioid-only, single-diaphragm design that retains the clarity, presence, and sonic character of its high-end sibling.
With a remarkable 143 dB dynamic range for uncompressed, life-like transients, the C214 brings performances to life. Its edge-terminated capsule ensures a highly detailed, up-front sound.
Engineered for versatility, the C214 features a switchable 20 dB attenuation pad and a low-cut filter, allowing it to handle sound pressure levels up to 156 dB SPL for close-up miking on stage.
Each factory-matched pair undergoes AKG's meticulous computer-aided selection process, ensuring near-identical sensitivity and frequency response matching for perfect stereo imaging.
